About
With a focus in film photography, I spend my days with a camera in my hand or behind the wheel of my beloved car. I've loved writing since I was young, and have composed over a quarter million characters in personal letters to people. These are all being composed for a project I call my "Archive", which I may release far in the future. This year, I began a path as a student journalist with York High School to learn and understand the professional side of writing and media creation. Below are examples of my work at home, and my work in journalism.

Boys XC Showcase Story
Student Journalism
August 2024 - November 2024
For four months I closely followed the Boys Cross Country team, checking in, attending, or photographing many of their events. Overall, I encapsulated their progress in three separate projects, a beginning story, a broadcast piece about a few accomplished seniors, and a final summary of their bountiful season this year. All in all, the length and expertise I gained from working with the team was really interesting to me, and I truly enjoyed it.
"The Summer Frames"
Film Photography
June 2024
These 15 frames are some of my proudest works. Handpicked from rolls of film I shot this summer, they showcase everything from beach days with loved ones, to the mundane moments in golden hour. It was around this time where I really began falling into a rhythm with film photography, and how to correctly balance my aperture, shutter speed, and film stock ISO.

Spotify Wrapped Story
Student Journalism
November 2024
This piece reflected on Spotify Wrapped, an event that has formed itself into a new holiday festivity. Interviews with avid Spotify listeners and an Apple Music user paint a picture of how students feel about Wrapped and its 'rival', Apple Recap. The amount of interviews that I took up for this story, and difference in perspectives among them was eye opening, and it made the actual writing and creation really interesting to me.
Boys XC Yearbook Spread
Student Journalism
October 2024
This visual culmination of my reporting on the Boys Cross Country team was something I was very proud of. The selection of photos, the mod, and the story were all things I put a lot of effort into, and the results were very pleasing. This was my first taste of working on the yearbook, and while the learning curve was steep, but it set me up for success as I kept adding more things to our publication.
